Check breathability alongside comfort, especially for warm offices, travel, and summer wear.
Why this order differs from the main list
Comfort carries most of the weight because it is the question being asked. Fit is included because a pair that rides up or digs at the leg is not comfortable no matter how good the fabric feels in the hand. Breathability is included because heat is discomfort. Durability and value are set to zero. How long a pair lasts and what it costs are real questions, but neither one tells you how it feels at four in the afternoon.
